Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has arrived in Katsina to offer condolences to the Yar’adua family following the passing of Hajiya Dada Yar’adua, mother of former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
He was received by Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, accompanied by Deputy Governor Malam Faruk Lawal Jobe and other members of the Executive Council.
The dignitaries proceeded to Yar’adua quarters, where Senator Abdulazeez Yar’adua received the delegation, former President Jonathan shared his personal memories of the late Hajiya Dada Yar’adua.
Reflecting on their encounters, he fondly described the deceased as a “mother for all,” stressing her nurturing role that extended far beyond her immediate family and touched the lives of many across the nation.
He sympathized with the family and prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest.
