Dr. Suleiman Umar has been confirmed as the substantive Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic.
The rector, who collected his formal instrument of administration from the Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu today in Abuja, had been acting as the helmsman of the institution since April 2021.
Dr Umar replaced Prof Idris Bugaje in April last year when the latter was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
Dateline Nigeria reports that the appointment of the rector was based on the recommendation of the institution’s governing council.
