The senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Lawal Adamu Usman, popularly known as Mr. LA, said he has escaped an assassination attempt by some thugs in Kaduna.
In a terse message on his Facebook page, Mr LA, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wrote: “I have just escaped an assassination attempt by some thugs in kaduna north.”
He did not give further details but the post has garnered more than 1,200 comments and has been shared more than 150 times.
The Kaduna State Police Command could not be immediately reached for comment.
