The Senate had confirmed Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Justice Kekere-Ekun was earlier appointed as acting CJN by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu based on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC).
She was confirmed by the Senate on Wednesday.
