The Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, on Tuesday received the leadership of the ECWA Women Fellowship, Kaduna District Church Council (DCC), in her office at the Government House.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State, Rev. Caleb Ma’aji. Speaking during the visit, Kaduna DCC Women Leader Mrr. Alice Maigari explained that the delegation was in Government House to formally invite the Deputy Governor to the forthcoming Annual Conference of the ECWA Women Fellowship, scheduled to hold later this month.
She said the conference would feature a series of talks aimed at equipping women with leadership skills for both the home and the wider society.
Responding, Dr. Balarabe expressed appreciation for the visit and called for collective action by all citizens, irrespective of religious affiliation, to address prevailing societal challenges, particularly youth delinquency, antisocial behaviour and criminality.
