The Kaduna State Government has sealed branches of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and Keystone Bank in the state over non-payment of tax.
The banks were sealed by agents of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) Tuesday.
While FCMB is said to have defaulted in the payment of N72m tax, Keystone Bank was sealed over non-payment of N220m, it was learnt.
Some of the bank branches sealed were located on Yakubu Gowon Way and Ali Akilu Road in the metropolis.
