Rep Ekene Abubakar Adams, the member of the House of Representatives, representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, has died.
The Chairman House Committee on Sports died late Monday in Abuja, sources close to his family said on Tuesday.
Adams, who had battled ill health in recent times, was a former football player, ex-general manager of Kada City Football Club, and former Remo Stars General Manager.
He was elected as House of Representatives member in the 2023 general elections under the platform of Labour Party (LP).
Dateline Nigeria reports that Ekene’s death is coming few days after that of his colleague in the House of Representatives Rep Olaide Akinremi from Oyo State.
