Kannywood star Shuaibu Lawan, popularly known as Kumurci, has married again 20 years after the death of Balaraba Muhammad, his first wife and colleague in the Hausa film industry.
Balaraba Muhammad died on March 15, 2002, a day after her wedding to Kumurci. She died in a road accident on her way to her matrimonial home.
After her tragic death, Kumurci married Maryam Umar, but she also died after they separated, sources said
The Kano-born Kumurci achieved fame in Kannywood with his ‘bad guy’ roles which he usually played to the admiration of his numerous fans.
