Kano governor swears in seven new commissioners

The Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in seven new commissioners.

The swearing-in took place at the Government House in Kano on Monday.

The new commissioners are: Ibrahim Waiya (Information), Shehu Wada Sagagi (Investment, Commerce, and Industries), Dr. Ismail Aliyu Danmaraya (Finance), Dr. Shehu Sani (Power and Sustainable Energy), Dr. Dahiru Hashimu (Environment), Abdulkadir Abdulsalam (Rural Development) and Nura Iro Ma’aji (Public Procurement).

Addressing the new appointees, Governor Yusuf emphasized the importance of collaboration, urging them to work together in order to meet the expectations of the people and achieve the set objectives.

He reassured the public of his administration’s commitment to fulfilling all campaign promises and tackling the state’s pressing challenges.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by prominent government officials, lawmakers, and key stakeholders, signaling strong support for the Governor’s vision and leadership.
