Kano records 92 fresh COVID-19 cases as toll tops 2000 in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 238 new cases of COVID-19, with Kano accounting for 92 of the infections.

There were also 36-FCT, 30 in Lagos, 16 in Gombe, 10 in Bauchi, eight in Delta, six in Oyo, five in Zamfara, five in Sokoto, four in Ondo, four in Nasarawa and three in Kwara.

Other are three each in Edo, Ekiti, Borno and Yobe, two in Adamawa and one each in Niger, Imo, Ebonyi, Rivers, and Enugu.

The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria is now 2170, with 351 discharged and 68 deaths.
