In the ongoing 5-day working visit to China, the delegation of Katsina State top government functionaries led by Governor Dikko Umaru Radda on Monday made a pivotal stop at Jinan Zhongnihaihe (ZNH) Company in Shandong Province, China.
The CEO of Woerka Nigeria Co. Ltd. and MD of Sinogrand Construction, Williams Xu while welcoming the delegation, outlined the extensive operations of Jinan Zhongnihaihe (ZNH) company in Nigeria.
Williams noted that ZNH has grown significantly, focusing on heavy-duty trucks, agricultural machinery, and construction equipment.
“As the sole distributor for Weichai Lovol, China’s leading tractor manufacturer, ZNH has become a key player in Nigeria’s industrial and agricultural sectors.
Responding to the brief presentation, Governor Radda, expressed keen interest in ZNH’s operations.
The Governor emphasized that this visit aims to gather first hand information on the company’s potential economic benefits with a view to establishing the factory plant in Katsina State as a means of technology transfer and sustainability of the equipment.
He highlighted the importance of such investments for the socio economic development of the good people of Katsina.
The delegation’s packed itinerary continues today 19th August 2024, with Shandong Minsheng Group, focusing on agricultural imports and exports.
The central discussions here will focus on Katsina State agricultural policies and the strategic use of Funtua Dry Port.
Also, the team will visit an irrigation system supplier to explore advanced agricultural technologies and solar panel factories, showcasing innovative power-generating roofing solutions.
Members of the delegation team include: Principal Private Secretary to Governor Radda, Hon. Abdullahi A. Turaji; Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture & Livestock Development, Prof. Ahmed Mohammed Bakori, and Honourable Commissioner for Trade, Commerce & Investment, Alhaji Adnan Na Habu, others are Alhaji Haruna DanAlkali and Abdulbasir Abubakar Jargaba.
