Katsina govt inspects AGILE projects in Kaita LG

In line with the vision of the Governor of Katsina State, , Malam Dikko Umaru Radda PhD, the Honourable Commissioner for Basic Education, Hon. Hadiza Yar’adua Tuggar has spearheaded an inspiring tour of secondary schools in Kaita Local Government Area of Katsina State.

This landmark visit, conducted in partnership with the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and AGILE officials, showcased the remarkable progress of ongoing and completed projects under the AGILE programme.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda administration has prioritized creating world-class learning environments for the state future leaders.

The inspection team, led by Hon. Tuggar, witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of these initiatives at GSSS DANKABA, GSSS YANDAKI, GSSS NATSINTA, GJSS NATSINTA, BILINGUAL, and SUNKAIS schools.

“What we’ve seen today is nothing short of extraordinary,” declared Honourable Tuggar.

“These AGILE projects are not just renovating classrooms; they’re building the foundation for a brighter, more prosperous Katsina State. Our students deserve the very best, and that’s exactly what we’re delivering,” she added.

The ambitious scope of the AGILE programme includes state-of-the-art laboratory upgrades, comprehensive classroom renovations, and cutting-edge facility enhancements.

These improvements are set to catapult Katsina’s educational standards to unprecedented heights.

AGILE Coordinator, Malam Mustapha Shehu provided an insightful briefing on the projects’ impressive progress, highlighting both challenges overcome and successes achieved.

The unwavering commitment to excellence was further emphasized by Engr. Lawal Salisu, Chairman of the Delegation Committee, who urged contractors to maintain the highest standards and meet crucial deadlines.

In a testament to the project’s community-centered approach, the inspection team engaged in productive dialogues with teachers, School-Based Management Committee members, students, and local residents. This collaborative spirit ensures that the AGILE projects not only meet but exceed the needs of those they serve.

Governor Radda’s administration remains steadfast in its commitment to educational excellence. These AGILE projects represent a significant step towards positioning Katsina State as a beacon of quality education in Nigeria and beyond.
