The Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora Alhaji Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II, on Friday, attended a ceremony held in honout of the immediate past Governor of Niger State Abubakat Sani Bello.
The ceremony was organised by former aides of the former governor, who is now the Senator representing Kontagora zone in the National Assembly.
Speaking at the event, the Sarkin Sudan Alh. Muhammadu Barau Mu’azu II announced the conferment of the first title of Sadaukin Kontagora on Dr Abubakar Sani Bello.
The monarch prayed for the former governor said the turbaning ceremony will hold at the palace at a later date.
In his own remarks, Senator Sani Bello said he has thanked the emir for making him the first Sadaukin Kontagora and assured the monarch of his readiness to contribute to the development of the emirate.
