The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has felicitated famous Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi for attaining the “momentous milestone of 100 years of life”.
Kwankwaso, a former Minister of Defence and Governor of Kano State, said this in a post he shared on his social media handles on Tuesday.
“On behalf of my family, friends and associates, I rejoice with Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi and his family, on reaching the momentous milestone of 100 years of life.
“Sheikh’s life is a model for dedication, having been in service of Islamic Scholarship all his life.
“We are grateful for Sheikh’s contributions to his people and the country as a towering statesman and religious leader.
“May the Almighty Allah preserve him in good health and prosperity,” Kwankwaso posted on X.
