The 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and former Governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Thursday, visited former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai at his Abuja residence.
Kwankwaso, who shared pictures from the visit on his social mediahandles, served as Minister of Defence while El-Rufai was Minister of FCT under former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
“Pleased to pay a cordial visit to my former colleague, H.E Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja today. RMK,” Kwankwaso posted on Facebook on Thursday.

At the time of the visit, El-Rufai was with the Dujiman Adamawa Alhaji Musa Halilu, his lawmaker son Bello El-Rufai, former Kaduna Capital Territory administrator Hafiz Bayero, media aide Muyiwa Adekeye and former member of the Kaduna State Houae of Assembly Haruna Inuwa, who dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the NNPP in 2023.
Dateline Nigeria reports El-Rufai recently sued the Kaduna State House of Assembly and the Kaduna State Government over the report indicting his administration.
