The Lagis State Police Command has staged a show of force at Lekki Toll Gate (Admiralty Plaza) Obalende, Ikoyi, Jakande Roundabout, and other areas in Eti Osa.
The exercise, led by CSP Yinka Egbeyemi, “is part of efforts to deter crime as well as boost the morale of his officers in the areas.”
Dateline Nigeria reports that the #EndSARS movement is planning to stage protest against the reopening of the Lekki toll gate which has been closed since October 2020 following alleged shootings of protesters by security agencies.
