Former Plateau State Governor and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment Simon Bako Lalong has been sworn in as Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District in the 10th Senate.
Lalong was sworn in by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday. He was the Director General of the APC presidential campaign for the 2023 election.
The Senator was accompanied by All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, APC State Chairman Rufus Bature, his wife Mrs Regina Lalong, Plateau State Governor-elect, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshewe, Deputy Governor-elect Hon Pam Bot-Mang, members of Plateau caucus in the National Assembly among others.
