The Honourable Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, MON, today, Monday, 20th January 2025, received the Executive Chairman of Ecolog International Integrated Support Solutions (EIISS), Mr. Juan Chaparro, and his team in his office at the Ship House, Abuja.
The visit provided an opportunity for EIISS to present their services, capabilities, and experience in supporting defence and humanitarian operations worldwide.
Ecolog International Integrated Support Solutions (EIISS) is a globally renowned provider of operational support and rapid response solutions, with a presence in over 50 countries and operations across 150 locations.
Established more than two decades ago, the company has played a critical role in supporting Ministries of Defence, Armed Forces, United Nations missions, and private organizations in challenging and remote environments.
During the meeting, Mr. Chaparro highlighted EIISS’s proven track record, including logistics, camp and infrastructure development, and medical facility setup. He also detailed their experience in partnering with defence forces such as the German Armed Forces, the US Army and Air Force, and the UK Ministry of Defence.
Minister Matawalle commended the delegation for their commitment to supporting global defence and security operations.
He emphasized the importance of fostering strategic partnerships that align with Nigeria’s defence objectives and assured the delegation of the Ministry’s interest in exploring collaborative opportunities with EIISS.
The Honourable Minister further noted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is committed to strengthening the operational efficiency and readiness of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
