Real Madrid‘s ‘operation exit’ is starting to take shape.
Javi Sanchez was the first player to leave the club this summer having made his loan move to Real Valladolid permanent for three million euros.
The latest player out of the door on a permanent basis has been Achraf Hakimi, who has joined Inter in a deal worth 45 million euros.
As for further names to be sold by Los Blancos next summer, Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo could be the next to go.
Vallejo is currently on loan at Granada, who are interested in making the deal permanent, while the defender also has a good reputation in Germany.
The centre-back has previously spent time in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, who are one of a handful of teams eyeing him again.
Ceballos’ future is also up in the air.
Mikel Arteta appears to be willing to extend the midfielder’s stay at Arsenal after a good run of form since the restart of the English season.
Everything depends on Zinedine Zidane, though. If the Frenchman stays at Real Madrid, Ceballos will look for another club.
Valencia and Real Betis have been linked with the Spanish international and any transfer involving him would be worth around 25 million euros.
Betis are also looking at the possibility of signing Real Madrid’s Jorge de Frutos, who is currently on loan at Rayo Vallecano.
Celta Vigo are another club who have the forward on their radar, with Los Blancos looking to get 10 million euros for him.
Takefusa Kubo, who has spent the season on loan at Real Mallorca, has plenty of suitors, but Real Madrid are only considering letting him leave on loan again.
The idea is that the club make 120 million euros from player sales this summer as they look to combat the loss in matchday income due to matches being played behind closed doors.
Los Blancos will also have to cut their first team squad down to size as it is set to include 38 players ahead of next season.
