Hon. Mohammed Sani Otto, Nasarawa Local Government Council Chairman on Tuesday condoled with the family of Yakubu Musa at Angwan Gwari, Nasarawa over the unfortunate incidence that took his life at the late hours of Monday.
He prayed for the repose of Yakubu Musa to rest in peace while assuring the people of Nasarawa Local Government Area of government unflinching commitment to taking necessary actions towards apprehending the culprits and proferring lasting solution to the hovering security challenges in the Area.
The Council Chairman afterwards, checked at the GRA residence of Arc. Shamsuna Ahmed, where Yakubu Musa, his security guard was brutally murdered by yet to be identified gunmen where he got first-hand information leading to the sad event.
He condemned the gruesome act and the perpetrators, and in the same vein, reiterated the commitment of his administration to address the issue and other sundry security situations.
“We are working hand in hand with security agencies and other relevant agencies in this regard and have reached a reasonable level so far,” he said.
