Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) have intercepted a 29-year-old Ismail Isah with an AK 47 rifle and two magazines concealed in a sack of maize.
He was arrested on the Abuja-Kaduna highway on Friday, May 16, 2025.
A spokesperson for the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi disclosed this in a statement he issued on Sunday.
“He will be transferred to the appropriate security agency for further investigation,” the statement said.
The chairman of the NDLEA, retired Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa commended the operatives for the arrest.
