New Borno FRSC sector commander visits 7 Division

The Borno State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has today Tuesday, 10 May, 2022 paid a courtesy and familiarization visit to the Headquarters 7 Division Nigerian Army.

The newly appointed Sector Commander, Corps Commander Utten Boyi stated that the aim of the visit was to avail him the opportunity to introduce himself to the Division as well as broaden and strengthen the already existing synergy between the Nigerian Army and the Corps.

He further appreciated the Division for the enormous support the Corps has been enjoying over the years while discharging it’s duties in Borno State.

The General Officer Commanding 7 Division/Commander Sector 1 Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General Waidi Shaibu while interacting with the Sector Commander and his entourage, described the FRSC as one of the critical security stakeholders in Borno State under the umbrella of OPHK.

The GOC also thanked the Sector Commander for making out time to visit the Division despite his busy schedules and work loads as a newly appointed Sector Commander.

The climax of the event was the interactive session where a joint safety and security workshop aimed at enlightening troops on road safety tips and proper road usage was discussed.

In attendance was the Acting Chief of Staff 7 Division/Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) G3, Col NG Mohammed; Officers of the FRSC; Deputy Chief of Staff G4; DCOS G1; Chief of Staff 7 DOS; Ag Comd 7 Div Prov Gp and other officers of 7 Division, Nigerian Army.
