
Nigeria’s new Minister of Defence Christopher Musa has paid a courtesy visit to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.
The visit was disclosed via a Facebook post by the Kaduna State Governor on Saturday, with pictures of him and the new defence minister.
“It was with immense joy and pride that I received the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), on a courtesy visit.
“I warmly congratulated him on his well-deserved appointment and reaffirmed Kaduna State’s unwavering commitment to deepening our collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of our great nation as we pursue our shared mandate of safeguarding lives and securing our communities.

“Our engagement was both enriching and forward-looking. We deliberated on strengthening ongoing security operations, fostering more agile and seamless intelligence coordination, and bolstering the support structures for the brave men and women who daily risk their lives in defence of peace.

“I reiterated that the security and well-being of the people of Kaduna State remain my foremost priority, and that we will intensify our partnership with federal security institutions to ensure enduring stability across the state.
“I am profoundly grateful for the Minister’s gracious commendation of the Government and people of Kaduna State. Our citizens have consistently stood with our security agencies in moments of challenge and triumph alike, and we shall continue to offer steadfast support as part of our collective responsibility to build a safer society.
