The newly appointed Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) Professor Abdullahi Saleh (Pakistan), has visited the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Professor Abdullahi Pakistan was the Chairman of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board during the administration of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
Dateline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu, on Monday, named Professor Abdullahi Usman as NAHCON chairman to replace Jalal Arabi, whom was appointed last October. Arabi is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
In a statement announcing the appointment of the new NAHCON chairman, the presidency described him as “a renowned scholar with qualifications from two Islamic centres of excellence — the University of Madinah and Peshawar University, Pakistan.”
