Farmer Governor Umaru Bago led a State Government delegation to the University where a $1m dollar scholarship bond was secured, with the University of Toronto creating a $2m Fund as matching grants.

The agreement is a milestone achievement especially as the Farmer Governor is prioritizing the health sector to address the need for effective healthcare service delivery across the State as the Medical Students that will be part of this Scholarship will eventually help out in this regard.
