
Famous Nigeria writer of global acclaim, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, on Monday, visited Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah.
The governor disclosed this on his Facebook page where he also share pictures from the visit.
He said “I was thrilled to welcome our very own literary icon and award winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, to the Government House.

“Her visit was a memorable one. She graciously presented me with an autographed copy of her latest book, Dream Count — a powerful addition to her remarkable body of work.
“Adichie is a formidable force of inspiration. Through her brilliant and courageous art of storytelling, she has addressed complex issues and expanded minds across continents.
“A proud ambassador of the Igbo culture who continues to elevate African narratives on the global stage. Her presence was a strong reminder of the greatness that lies within our people, and we were deeply honoured to host her.
“Odeluwa, thanks for coming!”
