The Director General of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has visited the National Institute of Security Studies (NISS) Abuja to strengthen the existing partnership between the two organisations.
He also delivered a lecture to 92 participants from various security agencies undertaking a training programme at the Institute.
In his presentation, titled, ‘Impact of Artificial Intelligence Deployment on Security and Emerging Technologies: A Global Perspective’, the DG shared valuable insights into the principles of Artificial Intelligence (AI), its applications in security and counter-terrorism.
He also expressed the agency’s willingness to collaborate with security agencies across the country to co-create solutions that would enhance national security and socio-economic activities which aligns with the present administration’s redefined priority area of strengthening national security for peace and prosperity.
