Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the All Progressive Congress, APC National Youths Mobilisation of the Presidential Campaign Council for the North-East, has been inaugurated.
It is charged with the responsibility of mobilising the teeming youths to ensure the victory of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima.
The Director of Youths Mobilisation for North-East who is also the Gombe State APC Youths Leader, Kawu Masu ( Top Lero) who performed the inauguration charged the youths to begin an aggressive mobilisation for the party across the nooks and crannies of the sub-region.
He said, “we must set out for effective engagement as well as put out the structures in motion towards coordinating an aggressive mobilization of the youths in Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Yobe States for our presidential candidate and other APC flag bearers at all levels”.
The Gombe APC Youths Leader said with the outstanding performance of Governors Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, Babagana Umara Zulum and Mai Mala Buni in Gombe, Borno and Yobe States respectively and their commitment to the Tinubu/ Shettima ticket, it will be an easy sail for APC in the North-East.
There were goodwill messages from other chieftains abd stakeholders of the party from the six states of the North-East, who expressed unflinching commitment to go all out to deliver APC at all levels in 2023.
