
The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, on Thursday, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmed Aliyu, in Sokoto.
The Governor commended the NSCDC for the outstanding work being done across the state—highlighting the discipline, professionalism, and visible impact of the operatives in maintaining peace and safeguarding national assets.
In his remarks, the Commandant General expressed deep appreciation to the Governor for his administration’s consistent support to the Corps and the Sokoto State Command.

He further appealed for enhanced backing, particularly in the area of operational vehicles and logistics, to strengthen the Corps’ capacity for rapid response and effective service delivery.
This strategic engagement reflects a unified commitment to securing the lives and property of Sokoto residents and sustaining peace across the Seat of the Caliphate.
