NSCDC reunites boy found in Bauchi with father in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Muhammad Bello Muazu has reunited a 12 year old boy by name Musaddiku Muhammad with his biological parents at Magazu village Tsafe local Government Area through the village Hakimi Ibrahim Maiwada.

Muazu said the child was found by the NSCDC operatives of the Bauchi State Command while on routine patrol in a Garage.

“The child was seen crying and feeling uncomfortable before he was accosted by the personnels,” according to a statement by .Ikor Oche SC, CDPRO Zamfara State Command.

“The boy was then traced to Zamfara State where he was taken from by his parents to Bauchi for Quranic Studies in a place called Moroco quarters.

“He was therefore transferred to the office of the NSCDC Zamfara State Command for investigations on the 13th April 2023.

“Preliminary investigations reveals that the said boy (Musaddiku Muhammad) hails from Magazu village of Tsafe local Government Area.

“Commandant MB Muazu therefore called on the Hakimi of Magazu village and the purported parents of the boy for identifications.

“The Hakimi Ibrahim Maiwada was however given the lad for onward reunion with his parents.

“The State Commandant, Commandant MB Muazu however, advised members of the public to be meticulous and careful of the kind of places they take their wards to for studies,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Maiwada, the Hakimi to Magazu village has expressed joy over the reunion of the child with his parents.

He said that he will do all within his powers to forestall any future occurrence.
