A non governmental organisation, One Voice Development Initiative, has extended condolences to you and your family of DCP Abba Kyari on the demise of his mother, Yachilla.
Coordinator of the group, Abbas Abdullahi Yakasai, in a statement made available to journalists, sent appreciation to the good people of Borno State for their genuine massive support and solidarity to Abba Kyari and the Kyari family during this difficult time.
The statement reads in part “Your mother’s legacy and impact on the community are evident in the outpouring of love and condolences.
“We thank all civil society groups, unions, and individuals who have stood by the Kyari family during this trial period. Your support and massive solidarity are a testament to the power of community and the importance of standing together in times of need.
Furthermore, the group further stated that “we draw the attention of the Federal Government to the urgent need to fast-track the immediate release of Abba Kyari.
“The vendetta allegations levelled against him are bailable in nature, and it is due time for the FG to honor and respect his sacrifices to the nation. If not, people of his caliber and patriotism would be demoralised and lost confidence of honesty and true service to the nation”.
One Voice Development Initiative, in conclusion, stated “finally, we hope that the FG will consider his release and reinstatement to service with immediate effect.
“We believe that this would be a fitting tribute to his mother’s memory and a testament to the nation’s commitment to justice, fairness, and recognition of outstanding and unprecedented service to our nation”.
The group prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the mother and said may Jannatul Firdous be her final abode.
