A former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State Alhaji Garba Mohammed Noma said he is ready to support any governorship candidate produced by the PDP in 2027 so that the party will remain in power.
He said the party will not only take its rightful place, but take over power from the APC-led government which he accused of under-performance.
Garba Noma, who spoke to journalists, said Bauchi people still rely on the PDP to reposition the state more for the better.
He also shed light on his recent comment that the next Bauchi governor shall comes from Bauchi LGA.
“What happened was that someone commented that the next Governor of Bauchi will come from Bauchi Local Government. But I want to make it clear that I will support anybody from any local government that will emerge as PDP gubernatorial candidate in 2027,” Noma said.
He expressed optimism that a right and acceptable candidate will emerge peacefully for the party’s success come 2027.
