The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has said that the presidential election held last Saturday was programmed to deliver pre-determined results.
Addressing a world press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Obi said the election did not meet the necessary requirements and could not be adjudged credible.
He said “Labour Party won the election and I will prove it. I will challenge this rascality for the future of the country.
“The court exists for this and they have asked me to go to court and I will be going to court.”
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, as the president-elect.
Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar; Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi; and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP)
