The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has seized PMS in jerry cans, drums and improvised smuggling vans in Adamawa State.
The seizure was made under “NCS Operation Whirlwind” in Yola. The customs addressed a joint press briefing with the Adamawa State Coordinator of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Dr. Bashir S. Kafur.
The NMDPRA said the feat was achieved in furtherance of the collaboration with NCS to curb petroleum product smuggling in the state and nationwide to ensure energy security.
