Former Governors of Kano State Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and Ibrahim Shekarau on Sunday have given an idea of their 2023 plans after the former visited the latter in his Mundubawa residence in Kano.
Kwankwaso, a chieftain and presidential aspirant of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), has attracted many political bigwigs in Kano to his new platform.
Shekarau, who has shunned an invitation from the presidency aimed at reconciling him with Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of All Progressives Congress (APC) is also said to be on his way to the NNPP.
Those who have joined Kwankwaso in NNPP include former House of Reps Majority Leader Abdulrahman Suleiman Kawu Sumaila, Abdulmumin Jibrin, several lawmakers, among others.
