Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, on Monday, hosted the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, his wife and entourage from the AfDB to a dinner at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.

The governor said the dinner afforded them the opportunity of sharing thoughts on developmental issues and challenges, in particular the Kaduna State Agro-Industrial Processing Zone and how it can propel Kaduna State to new heights in agribusiness and impact positively on the lives of farmers and teeming population.

In his remarks, the AfDB President, Dr. Adesina commended the Uba Sani administration for its inclusive approach to governance, describing it as a government that listens and executes.
He also commended the government for making agriculture a top priority in its budget, a move he said will bring many of our people out of poverty.
“I thanked the AfDB President and his team for prioritizing Kaduna State and taking time out of their busy schedules to visit our state. I look forward to receiving them at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) slated for today, April 8th, 2025,” Uba Sani said.
