Popular Kannywood actor Sani Garba SK has died in Kano after a protracted illness.
Known as SK by fans, the actor died on Wednesday in Kano, Dateline Nigeria learnt.
A popular Kannywood producer confirned SK’s death to BBC Hausa.
SK died at the Muhammadu Abdullahi Wase Hospital in Nasarawa area of Kano.
“Sani SK spent nearly three years battling illness, but his condition deteriorated recently, staying inbtge hospital for about five weeka at the hospital, ” Amart said.
Amart added that SK battled diabetes, before developing liver and kidney problem as well as high blood pressure.
There were rumour recently that the actor had died, by SK came out to debunk it.
“On this very day that he died, a kidney dialysis was started on him,” Amart, who footed the medical bills of the deceased, said.
