The Chairman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF) Prof Ango Abdullahi has lost his first son, Dateline Nigeria has learnt.
Alh Isa Ango Abdullahi died Thursday evening after a protracted illness and his janaza (funeral) is scheduled to take place today after Friday congregational prayer at the Danja mosque in Zaria.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Isa is the elder brother of Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, one of the abducted Abuja-Kaduna train passengers still being held by terrorists.
The deceased is survived by a wife and children.
