Rangers are combing the market to find a coach to replace Steven Gerrard, and Ronald Koeman is reportedly one of the candidates to take over at Ibrox Stadium.
Gerrard officially left Rangers on Thursday after reaching a deal to become the new manager at Aston Villa, who sacked Dean Smith last weekend after a poor start to the season.

According to Football Insider, the Scottish Premiership reigning champions are eyeing Koeman as Gerrard’s potential successor. Koeman was only sacked as Barcelona boss in the early hours of October 28.
Rangers are currently top of the table and last year managed to end Celtic’s nine-year stranglehold of the title, as they won the league for the first time in a decade.
Meanwhile, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, former Feyenoord coach and Rangers player Giovanni van Bronckhorst is the current favourite to replace Gerrard.
