Residents card: Kaduna appoints UBA as issuing bank

The Kaduna State Government has appointed UBA as the issuing bank for the production of residents’ biometric identity card.

Malam Nasir El-Rufai said the state has registered more than 3.4m of its 10m residents and welcomed the MoU as a major step to promote this and financial inclusion.

Dr. Zayyad Tsiga of the Kaduna Residents Registration Agency signed the MoU on behalf of the Kaduna State Government .
