The Nigerian Army on Friday confirmed the death of the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru in an air crash which also claimed the lives of 10 other officers including the crew.
Army spokesman Brig Gen Mohammed Yerima said Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru died in an air crash on Friday in Kaduna. See names of victims:
