The Magajin Garin Sokoto Hassan Danbaba Marafa, and grandson of the late Premier of Northern Region, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna Sokoto has been buried.
Danbaba’s janaza (funeral) prayer held at the Sultan Muhammadu Bello mosque Kanwuri in Sokoto hours after his death at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.
The funeral prayer was attended by the Sultan of Sokoto Muhammadu Saad, Governors Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna) and Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi), among many others
