Senators fulfil promise to victims of Tudun Biri bombing mishap

The Nigerian Senate has fulfilled their promise to donate one month’s worth of salaries from the 109 Senators to aid the victims of the tragic attack in Tudun Biri on December 3rd, 2023.

Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (PDP, Kaduna Central) handed over the pledge on behalf of the senators.

Kaduna State Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe disclosed this in a Facebook post on Monday.

“Today, Honourable Lawal Adamu Usman, the Senator representing Kaduna Central, presented bank drafts on behalf of the 10th Senate to the Kaduna State Deputy Governor who is the Chair of the Tudun Biri Committee in her office.

“The Deputy Governor expressed gratitude on behalf of the Kaduna State Government for the generous assistance from the Nigerian Senate and their support in rebuilding Tudun Biri,” the post said.

The deputy governor also highlighted Governor Uba Sani’s efforts to not only rebuild the community, but also the lives of its people.

“As part of this initiative, Governor Uba will inaugurate the construction of an access road to Tudun Biri, demonstrating the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure in the village,” she added.
