A front-runner for the position of Speaker in the 10th National Assembly Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has commiserated with the family, colleagues and associates of House of Representatives member-elect Ismaila Maihanci who died in the early hours of Saturday in Abuja.
Maihanci was elected to represent Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal constituency, Taraba State, in the just held general elections.
Mourning the politician, Gagdi, who represent Panshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency of Plateau State, said “I was with him in his house before I departed to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj. He was one of the front soldiers of one nation. May his soul rest in peace”
Gagdi also prayed to God to strengthen those left behind by the elected lawmaker.
