Sultan, Ganduje grace commissioning of mosque built by APC chieftain

The Juma’at mosque was built by the National Organising Secretary of the APC, Suleiman Argungu.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar,Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris and National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Abdullahi Umar-Ganduje have attended the commissioning of a mosque in Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

The National Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatul Bidi’a Waikamatus-Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau, and many others also graced the commissioning of the mosque.

The Sulaiman Muhammad Juma’at Mosque was built by the National Organising Secretary of the APC, and former Deputy Governor of Kebbi State Suleiman Argungu.

Speaking on Friday at the official commissioning of the mosque in Argungu, Sultan urged Muslims to build mosques and continue to contribute their quota towards the development of Islam.

He observed that no support was too small and none was too big for Islam, advising that the best support was done for Allah’s sake.

“Anyone who builds a mosque for prayers has established a road to paradise; I encourage every one of us to emulate this gigantic gesture,” he urged.

Mr Abubakar said Islam was known as a peaceful religion, advising that clerics should continue to preach and propagate peace and unity in their respective communities and in the entire nation.
