The Comptroller General of Customs retired Col. Hameed Ali and his management team in a historic move met with Ambassadors of USA, Germany and High Commissioner to United Kingdom at Customs Headquarters, Abuja.
The meeting is to collaborate and seek best ways to deal with the challenges of illicit wildlife trade and facilitation of Import/Export by the three embassies.

The meeting resolved on the need to meet quarterly at the Headquarters of Nigeria Customs Service to forge a stronger working relationship with a view of improving trade facilitation, e-commerce and revenue generation.
The Comptroller General of Customs, while stating that the partnership was most certainly welcome, looked forward to the synergy, highlighting the need to tackle issues such as illegal wildlife trade within the country.
