The Honorable Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, along with his brothers Governor Nasir Idris, Minister of Agriculture Sen. Abubakar Kyari, and Minister of Information Mohammed Idris, visited Ngaski, Kebbi State for the commissioning and groundbreaking of Sub-Saharan Africa’s Largest Integrated Tomatoes Farm and Factory with a capacity of 2,400 tonnes per day.
The Minister expressed his gratitude to Governor Nasir Idris for his efforts in making the project a reality, as well as to the Emir of Yauri, HRH Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu, for rallying the host community’s support. He also acknowledged the Spanish government for its support of GB Foods.
This initiative, which began during his tenure as Governor of Kebbi State, highlights Nigeria’s potential as a premier investment destination with significant absorptive capacity.
