Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has established KADA Warriors Football Club to secure full participation in the national league.
This is in his commitment to empowering youth through various initiatives, including sports, Kaduna State Commissioner of Local Government Affairs Hon Sadiq Mamman Lagos said.
He said the formation of KADA Warriors FC aims to restore Kaduna State’s presence in Nigerian football, offering a platform for youth engagement and development.
During an introductory meeting with the newly appointed management team, Hon. Sadiq Mamman Lagos tasked them with developing promotional pathways to enhance the team’s status and raise the profile of Kaduna State.
Team President Tijani Babangida assured Governor Uba Sani that KADA Warriors FC would strive to achieve excellence and success, setting a high standard for the team and the state.
Dateline Nigeria reports that Kaduna State has been absent from the Nigerian Premier League for nearly a decade, a gap compounded by previous administrations’ limited support for youth sports, particularly football.
He said “Football fosters unity and harmony among youth, while also creating employment opportunities and contributing to the local economy.”
