UDUS promotes sixty academic staff members

The Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has promoted sixty (60) of its staff members from the level of a doctorate degree to professorship and readership respectively.

The promotion captured 31 doctorate staff members being promoted to the level of professorship and another 29 members being promoted to the level of readers.

The 31 newly promoted Doctors to professors are:

  1. Amb. Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Wali of the faculty of Management science now Professor of Public Administration
  2. Dr. Nasiru Mahammad of faculty of Agriculture now Professor Ruminant Nutrition and Management
  3. Dr. Gambo Hassan of faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies now Professor of Arabic Language (Morphology)
  4. Dr. Vaffi Foday Sheriff of faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies, now Professor of Islamic Thoughts
  5. Dr. Chula Aminu of College of Health Sciences, now Professor of Pharmacology
  6. Dr. Anas Ahmad Sabir of College of Health Sciences, now Professor of Internal Medicine
