Wamakko tasks Sokoto governor on inclusive governance

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (APC Sokoto North) has charged Sokoto State Governor Ahmad Aliyu to put in more effort in building the state and carrying his allies along for the overall development of the state.

Wamakko, a former governor of Sokoto State, spoke during the closing of the 24th edition of the Ramadan breakfast for this year at Gidan Kara town of Wamakko Local Government Area of the state.

Senator Wamakko further advised the governor to consider his close associates at all times and make them understand his busy schedule so as nott to think that he has forgotten them, according to a statement on Monday by his spokesman Bashar Abubakar

He expressed confidence that, the governor has a very solid plan for the people of the state hence the need for all and sundry to show understanding

The APC leader went down memory lane on how the governor was elected last year despite all odds, especially from those who insisted that Ahmad Aliyu would never make it to the number one seat in the state. But the Almighty Allah had made it possible

Senator Wamakko thanked Almighty Allah for his numerous blessings upon them, and urged the governor not to relent in providing good services to the good people of the state.

Three scholars offered special prayers for Allah’s continued support and blessings to the leadership of APC led administration in the state.The scholars are, Mallam Bello Jibdawa, Mallam Nafi’u Malami Dan Haja and Mallam Bashir Gidan Kanawa.

The special breakfast had in attendance the Deputy Governor Idris Muhammad Gobir, Sokoto speaker Tukur Bala Bondinga, Minister for State of Water Resources and sanitation Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo, SSG, Bello Muhammad Sifawa, Chief of staff, Aminu Dikko, HOS Sulaiman S Fulani Ahmadu, members of the state assembly and state executive council, among others.
